Doug, even your great photography can't do justice to the beauty of the Taxco experience. Karen has a few silver "trinkets", too.
Hoping to see you guys in Tucson in the future.

I met Stan Jenkins the other day at Buckman Gent and we started talking about you (he gave me the address of your internet site). Thanks for introducing me to Flight Simulator (my son Edwin is enjoying it a lot !).
I'm still continuing to put best efforts to apply in my daily work your Toolz ! I still have a very nice recollection of when you came over to Europe and when we spent quite some time together.
Hoping that your wife and yourself are doing well.
Cheers

Posted by: Ed Posted on: 09/18/2003 @ 22:53:22 | | Sir, I received the package back from the Post, of the information I sent regarding the Polly Woodside. It was stamped as undeliverable to the addressee. My son is helping me try to locate my contact information, so that I might telephone again. I do not see as well, as I once did and I may have not dialed the number that I had correctly, as I did not get through. I will continue in my efforts to get the information that you were interested in to you. It was nice to hear of your interest in her history, at my age. |
Posted by: Tracy Kinahan Posted on: 04/15/2003 @ 05:27:24 | Hi Doug
Thanks for the photos! We are on a mission to find "the waterfall" - it is really beautiful.
I hope that you recovered well from the trip and enjoyed SA. It was a pleasure to have you here, please come back soon.
Kind regards
Tracy |
Posted by: Ed Posted on: 04/14/2003 @ 17:55:19 | | Professor Neville advised me that you are interested in the history of the PollyWoodside. I have sent a package with copies of some of my personal logs, ships logs and photographs taken during my voyages to her. I have just returned from the Post, where I sent them via overnight service. I am sure she will see that they get to you. You will see by some of the photographs, we had many a rough trip. Ed |
